What should I do before I set up White Pages Connect?

Before you  get started 

Before you get started with White Pages Connect, set up your Google account and Facebook business page (if you haven’t already). Having an existing presence on these platforms will help with a seamless onboarding experience for your Connect product.

Create your Google account

Click here to find out how to create a Google account. Your Google account is needed to create or claim your Google My Business listing.

As part of claiming your Google My Business listing, in some circumstances you may need to complete your Google verification via postcard. This may take up to 20 days to receive from Google.

Once your Google My Business listing is claimed you will also be able to access Google Analytics reporting on your dashboard when logged into your White Pages Connect product.

How do I access White Pages Connect?

Activate and create your White Pages account 

To access White Pages Connect, you will need to activate your White Pages self-service account by following the instructions below:

  1. You will receive an Account Activation email after your White Pages Connect purchase. We’ll send this to the email address you provided us when you purchased the product.
    Note: If you haven’t received this, click here for more information.
  2. In the email, click on ‘Activate’. You’ll be taken to White Pages’ self-service website to set up your account.
  3. Now create and confirm your password.
  4. Select a secret question and provide the answer.
  5. Tick the check box once you have read and understood our terms and conditions. Then press Activate.
  6. You’ll be taken to the home page of your account where you can check the status of White Pages Connect to see if it’s ready.
  7. Once you’ve activated your White Pages account, it can take up to an hour for White Pages Connect to display on the home page. When it’s ready, the progress bar will disappear and you’ll see a purple tile named Connect. Click on the ‘Update now’ button to begin using White Pages Connect. If the tile hasn’t appeared after this time, please try again a little later.

Once logged into your White Pages self-service account, you can:

View your listing on the White Pages website by clicking the ‘View my listing’ button.

How do I set up White Pages Connect?

Review your content

Once logged into your White Pages self-service account, review the content of your business locations. This includes your business name, address and category. Make updates or changes if required.

Add content

Select the location that you would like to enrich with information (if you have multiple locations). Navigate to the Profile page to fill in your basic and rich business data. Include your location name, address, postcode, city/suburb, phone and categories. Next, provide your website, email and opening hours so customers can easily get in touch with you. Note: You may need to include “https://” before your website URL.

Tip: Aim for 100% on the Profile Completeness scale.
